I just bought one of these cuteis, really nice netbook, the one thing I absolutely love about it is battery life. Just amazing, you were right, I got a solid 8 hours using it hardcore with everything on. Your review was amazing, very informative. If you ever add a 2 gb ram chip to it, can you please make another vid to show us how different it is? I would greatly appreciate this because I’m not sure how much of a difference it could make. Thanks

I’m tempted to say “what a load of crap!” just for the sake of irony, but I’ll refrain
I know in the UK they were selling the transformer docks directly from Asus. Are they planning on doing that in the US too? I have my transformer, but docks have not been available on any sites yet. Thanks.

(Personal Computers) This is my first netbook and I’m loivng it already. I’ve had it for less than a week but I’m already using it more than my primary laptop. The purpose of buying is for a 10 week study abroad trip in Europe that I leave for this week. To this end I am very pleased with the size and weight of the netbook. This unit is great for travel. A couple things to note: I used Microsoft’s cheap student upgrade program to go from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Professional (costs about $30) and I’m definitely happy I made the switch. Starter is just a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I’ve also ordered a 2gb stick of RAM from Crucial. THe machine is speedy and is excellent for internet, productivity and media streaming. It can get bogged down when running several intensive programs together (Skype, Firefox, iTunes, etc) so you can’t go wrong putting in extra memory. Like the Windows 7 student upgrade, this will only cost you about $30. Overall, great product that I would highly recommend.
